The Darkness II is a sequel to the popular 2007 shooter game - The Darkness. The title is inspired by the popular comic book of the same name by Top Cow Productions. The Darkness II is a first-person perspective game that puts you in the role of Jackie Estacado, the head of a criminal family in New York, who possesses an ancient power known as The Darkness.

Two years have passed since Jackie Estacado used his dark power to kill the men responsible for the death of his girlfriend, Jenny. Jackie's desperate attempts to fix his life open the path for The Darkness and he embarks on a brutal journey, during which he will uncover the mystery of Jenny's murder and the motives behind his dark power.
